Type 8700 - Mass flowmeter for gases (MFM)

The mass flow meter (MFM) Type 8700 is suitable for measuring aggressive gases, gas mixtures and in the area of application for alternating gases. A thermal capillary sensor, with sensor elements not in contact with medium, is used for this. The forms in contact with medium are made of high-quality stainless steel and FFKM as a seal material for high chemical resistance. The 8700 can optionally be calibrated for two different gases; the user can toggle between these two gases. As electrical interfaces both, analogue standard signals and fieldbuses are available.
- Nominal flow ranges from 0.005 l/min to 15 l/min (regarding nitrogen)
- High accuracy in measurement and repeat accuracy
- Suitable for aggressive gases
- Simple switching between operating gases
- Optional: fieldbus interface
